Cincinnati Wild Flower Preservation Society

The Cincinnati Wild Flower Preservation Society was founded by Dr. Lucy Braun in 1917 to preserve and protect the wild areas in our area so that wildflowers may thrive.

To achieve this mission we:

Educate
- By running field trips in the spring, summer, and fall to areas of diverse vegetation
- By presenting a winter lecture series about various aspects of the wild outdoors
Preserve
- Run work parties to remove invasive species from the various nature centers and wild areas in our area
Protect
- Support other programs in the area which are acquiring important land tracts
